So I guess it's just delaying the problem? Bugger!
Oh well, I've only seen the error on the admin site not the public site. The
only difference is that the timeout is set at 5 for public and 30 for admin.
Do you know how to get this error. Can you replicate it all the time?
Maybe instead of starting up a second application in the catch block we
could expire the cookies and then start a new app. The error happens because
the current session is crapping out, starting up a new browser and hence
setting new cookies doesn't cause the error. So deleting the cookies in the
current broswer session and recreating them might work.
If you can get the error to appear on demand try this code to see if it
stops it.
try
app tag
catch
StructClear(COOKIE)
app tag
/catch
/try
Or if StructClear doesn't work, try deleting CFID and CFTOKEN with cfcookie.
StructClear should work as the cookie scope is exposed as a structure in CF
but I'm not sure if changing values via the structure effects them.

Ade,
I tried using that and it worked the first time, but then errored
afterwards.
I figured I had an error on the second app name, but there was no third app
name to catch it with. lol! Guess nesting more and more app names would
solve it?
Thanks,
Will
