using mx 7, a flash type cfform. using

<cfinput type="image" width="#mapWidth#" height="#mapHeight#"
name="theMap" src="#mapImage#">

to capture x,y of clicks on the map image. unfortunately it seems that
flash is swallowing the image click data (ie "theMap" form item turns up
empty). is that expected? any way around that?

also we have a boatload of interactivity (free form/constrained drawing
on the image, measuring distances, etc.) for these kinds of apps that
rides on a fairly complex js lib. do flash forms mean we have to toss
that lib? can we re-do it in action script & "inject" it into cfform? or
are we talking a complete rebuild in flash?

thanks.
