Hi all,

Quick question: I'm passing the date to an Access database. I have set the
field "DateCreated" in Access as Date/Time, and I've chosen a given date
format within Access. However, it seems to be that the field just takes the
format ColdFusion sends the date in, regardless of what format I've chosen
in Access.

My question: am I better off setting that field to text and create my own
format in Cold Fusion, or is there a real need to/advantage in using the
"date/field" type, even with it's limited formats?

Thanks in advance,

Roberto Perez
