OK, I just peeked into CF Admin, and it looks to me like you don't need a username and password to satisfy Access, just to satisfy CF for the sake of authentication.
I haven't used Access with CF since 1998, so I'm more than rusty. Do you have a username and password configured in CF Administrator? Which version of CF are you using?
