http://ahphosting.net/ doesn't seem to have this problem. I've got some new code on one of their VPS servers and no problems at all. I have seen that if you don't have enough ram or don't manage it well, you can run into problems. On HoF (640) this has been a problem in the past. The new server has 2 gig (shared) and I haven't seen the problem at all.
