If I do that then it displays with the text. If I were to do <cfset Blah = SPCount> and then <cfset Msg = "#Variables.Blah# and some text"> then output the Msg, all that would be outputed would be 1, this of course is when SPCount is still coming from the SP. Dunno, it is wierd, the cfsavecontent method works flawlessly though.
