I can't find anyway around this problem either without remember to go
remove once in a while

I am really curious if anyone else cares to report how big their
cfam-err.log files are?

I have a 2.4 GHx Dell Dimension 8200 with 512 MB Ram running WinXP Office
this monster takes anything that even gets close enough to smell to it
knees. I just wonder how many other bloated files are unnecessarily
overloading my system. I did a search of my HD and the next closest are the
cfam-event_(1 thru 4).log. I am gambling that I can delete all of these and
the system will create new files as needed.

Another thing that surprised me was when I finally located the file the
last time it was updated was June 2004. Apparently Macromedia foresight to
limit the file to 20 GB.

I am still running 5.0 on my desktop, but started with a new install on
this computer about April 2003. It looks like that file grew to 20 GB in
about 14 months.
