I'm not sure why Studio uses so much of the GDI resources. I primarily code
on my VAIO laptop and it has limited video memory and RAM (128 MB), and I am
constantly running out of GDI memory. If I have Studio open and then open
Cute FTP (another seemingly simple UI that shouldn't eat up all the GDI mem)
forget about it something bad is going to happen.
Going over to Win2K is an option, but it is scary since the procedure for
doing this for VAIO's is like a 4 page document. Not so plug-and-play.
