I agree that tools like Javascript console, for instance, are pretty handy compared to MSIE, but before you can read error messages and debug, you need to write code. And to write code, you need a reference about all possible functions, properties, etc... This is what is lacking. Having a message which tells you exactly where your code calls a method not supported by FF is good.
