OK, so I got one response to this post. (MM must be very pleased that there are
so few issues
involved with upgrading from 6.1 to 7 or maybe they are upset because no one is
upgrading. hmmm)

From what I can see running through the 7 upgrade will actually produce a 6.1
install and a 7
install, is this correct?
If the above is true, is it recommended to uninstall 6.1?

Is it better to uninstall 6.1 and then do a fresh install of 7?
If uninstall and fresh install is better, what do we need to save to transfer
settings, datasources,
and etc?

Thanks!

Doug

We are about to embark on upgrading from 6.1 to 7 on our RedHat 2.1 AS server.

Please provide any tips, comments, suggestions, gotchas and feedback that
people have experienced
with upgrading, especially related to linux.

Thanks for the help!
