I just remembered this issue...

See if that has any affect on your performance.

Also, you might make sure your network people have the connection and
NICs configured correctly.

For some reason, our servers were running full duplex, but for some
reason, the performance from the server to the browser sucked really
bad. We had tons of packet collisions. The weird thing is that only
internal browsers had the problem. People on the outside of our network
could view the files as fast as they should have.

Our network people couldn't figure out the cause, but they worked around
it by setting the NICs to half duplex. Not perfect, but the download
performance was *much* better.

Subject: Re: IIS Web Server Tuning?

Yes, those are all EXCELLENT suggestions... unfortunately most of them
are already in place.

The issue is this seems to be recent and the 200k page is being served
in-houe on a local 100mbs network... almost seems like it might be
something else... ergo I was asking about IIS tuning because it's
something I have only googled and figured there might be something
between cf and IIS that I'm clueless about.

Am I chasing up the wrong tree here?
