We have an application that runs on a Linux box (a box we almost never use, except one client refuses to be on a Windows machine) and is running CF5. The application is timing out after 20 minutes, when it's supposed to be an hour.
When we first got told about this issue, we realized the admin had set the max session timeout at 20 minutes (which means it overrode the <cfapplication> tag, which has it set to 1 hour). Even after that, the app is timing out after 20 minutes. I've restarted CF multiple time, and it hasn't helped. My concern is that the "restart" isn't really taking, so I'd like to see if the application's timeout is indeed an hour and we're just running into some other issue. As of now, our only idea is to restart the entire machine, but that's a bit of an annoying process, because we have to notify another client who uses that Linux machine for their Single Sign-On and manually start some processes after the machine starts up, so that can't happen till next week. So, to make a long story longer, is there a variable or function which can output the current application's session timeout setting?
