I assume the web server is IIS? If so check that under properties (on
right click of the web site in IIS manager) Home Directory Tab and
Configuration button, that .cfm and .cfml and .cfc file extensions are
listed and mapped correctly to 
C:\CFusionMX\runtime\lib\wsconfig\1\jrun.dll

Is the 8500 port correct for your installation?
