Ah, sorry... It turns out there's an interesting story behind the domain name! Mike Chambers owned it before he joined Macromedia. He intended it to be a central bookmark storage website - websites could carry a "Mark Me!" button and it would store the link on the markme website... Later the site became a popular community site for Generator... Then, after Mike joined MM, it became the fledgling Macromedia weblog site and just sort of grew...
