 I been following the tuts at communitymx but for someone who is coming to the 
end of day 1 on a mac, they forget to mentions somethings such as when editing 
the .profile file that you have to run a command to unhide it, grrrrrrrrrrrrr. 
And I am getting used to the terminal but yet still amazed at how nice os x is 
:)
 And all in all just seems like its not finding the java/home folder which is 
there.

of instructions for this install after trying it out successfully on
about a dozen different people who were initially having problems.

One thing to bear in mind: most of the installation and most of the
administration needs to be done from the Terminal...
