Doesn't CF tank if the heap is over 1.6 GB or so? Or was that fixed in CF 7?

It depends. Sorry that's not very helpful but it's accurate. It really
depends on the applications on the server and the traffic levels. For
example, on the macromedia.com servers, we have the JVM heap set to 2Gb min
(3Gb max) and have two instances per server (each server has 8Gb RAM).
