found it now though.

You've decided to use the ASP script, but did you consider using the
Perl script. If your server has Perl installed, it'd be pretty easy.

<cfexecute name="C:\path to \perl.exe" arguments="C:\path to \HOP.pl" 
timeOut="5" variable="yourOutput"></cfexecute>

Of course, if you're on shared hosting, you may not have the ability to
use cfexecute, so I don't know if this is a viable solution for you or
not.
