Yes redirects will kill you thats why I didnt like the buy additional domain names and redirect the to the main site. But putting the redirect into a swf should be fine since the bots dont extract .as yet nor do they have flash installed so at this point it's a trick that works.
Do you remember when you could color the page background then load up all the content in the same color so it wasnt seen? Well after that was busted you could instead make an image the same color as the text and use that as the backgroud and the bots couldn't tell.
