Once happened in a place I work

Internet Explorer (and maybe other browsers) stored the cookies in a
network place connected to the logged in user... 

Thing was when they set up a row of computers to use (for
matriculation), they logged them all in with the same username and
password.  When the users were using the application, the cookies were
all being written to the same Network storage thus they were all getting
to see each others information.  

May be your problem, may not... Anyways, hope it helps or gives you
another idea.
