OK...so I'm still new to Java and I'm wondering about this that I read on New Atlanta's site:
Only with BlueDragon can you seamlessly redeploy existing CFML applications to any standard .NET or J2EE platform. Then, natively integrate and extend your applications using .NET or J2EE technologies. It's the "natively" part I'm a bit confused about. It makes me think CF for J2EE is more of an add-on of some kind when deployed on a J2EE server...and BlueDragon is more integrated into that environment wehn deployed. Let's say we have an application written in Java running on a J2EE server. We want to add a new module to that app and we want to write it in CF. Can that CF app be packaged up in an EAR/WAR file and be deployed on the J2EE server running the original app being added to....and will it juts "work" (apart from datasource setup etc.)? What would be different in this scenario using BlueDragon? I'm not looking for minute details....just a broad level explanantion. Thanks in advance Cheers Bryan Stevenson B.Comm.
