Depends on the application and the client's needs.  It's really your job as
a developer to make your client's life easier by providing them with tools
they can use to run their business (assuming they want to pay for them, of
course).  While something like this may not be rocket science, if you think
it will help your client make their business better, then by all means
suggest it to them.

In my opinion you can be an excellent programmer and know the technical
aspects of the language inside and out.  It's the great developers, however,
who can internalize what their client is trying to do and anticipate needs
that they don't even know they have, then create the tools to satisfy those
needs.  Keep up your line of thinking and you will be well on your way.
