Took me about 10 minutes to write my first Asynch Gateway. Took another 30 to tune it, and a lot of that was being happy with the appearance of logging and email messages.

Really? SendGatewayMessage(), man. That's it, really. We take care of all the thread pooling, management, handling, etc, and you write your CFC CFML business logic you want to run. Not sure if it gets any simpler than that.
