Hey! Perhaps Mike could setup an Ebay-style bidding system
where people pay to keep or kill a thread...or perhaps force it
to CF-Community! If no one bids, the threadremains where it is.
Mike just sits back and watches the action! Fun!

Or perhaps we could just all donate something on the first day
of the month each month. And we would be doing good by Mike
and he wouldn't have to worry about hiring an ad exec to keep
the list going...we could have an honor system...if you put to use
in your work something you learned at least once during the month,
you donate $10 for the month...or you can put in a call to
AdobeMedia for a tech support call for $3 per minute, minimum
$30 per call... For assistance in coding for a project, you can hire
an AdobeMedia consultant at $100 per hour for online chat support,
minimum $100 per coding issue...

Now I love things are they are now...but Mike, et al, have to eat, pay the
bills, and go on vacations, too...

I for one like the idea of paying to make certain threads go away. I
can think of entire conversations about Martha Stewart and baseball
that I'd pay to see disappear. The genius of this thought is that the
people IN the conversations might want to pay even more to bring them
back.
