Thanks for the idea, Ken - I already had the code in when you made the
suggestion but the client's request that they wanted a "preload page"
rather than just a message box was what gave me the idea that a
div/layer solution would be the best answer.
For those that are interested, here's a snippet of the code that I used:
<div
onclick="this.style.visibility='hidden';FormScreen.style.visibility='visible';"
style="z-index: 2; visibility: visible; top: 111px; left: 3%;
position: absolute;">
<table width="700"><tr><td>
<h2>Welcome to our form...</h2>
<p align="center"><input type="button"
onclick="this.style.visibility='hidden';FormScreen.style.visibility='visible';"
value="Continue To Information Form"></p>
</td></tr></table>
</div>
<div id="FormScreen" style="z-index: 1; visibility: hidden;">
<cfform action="index.cfm" method="POST" format="Flash"
skin="haloBlue" preloader="True" width="700" wmode="transparent"
height="560">
<cfformitem type="text">Use this form to update your information
....</cfformitem>
</cfform>
</div>
This worked out well for me might have been done prettier, not sure.
