The CFMX 7 FAQ pages lists the below text.
*I own a copy of ColdFusion MX Standard with four CPUs and want to upgrade
to ColdFusion MX 7 Standard. Do I need to purchase two licenses now?
*For a limited time, customers upgrading from ColdFusion MX 6.x Standard
Edition will be able to upgrade servers with more than two CPUs using a
single license upgrade. For information on upgrade options, please see the
Upgrade Guide.

I spoke with a few Macromedia sales reps and none of them knew anything
about this. Has anyone upgraded from CFMX 6 to CFMX 7 on a 4-CPU server and
taken advantage of the "limited time" offer? When does the "limited time"
expire? Is it only for the Standard Edition? How does a 4-CPU license work?
Is the serial number keyed to the number of CPUs? How will dual-core
processors be treated?
 Thank you,
Mike Chabot
