Oh no, not really. I mean, you saw what they wanted verbatim. I just didn't know if I could make a package like BlogCFC talk to Fusetalk. I mean, say, create a way to integrate a calendar into Fusetalk via BlogCFC or something similar. I imagine if they used SQL databases, it should all be fairly easy.
