I see problems all the time with users not seeing pages correctly and in every
case its been a norton error. As soon as they disable norton the pages work
fine and in a case where I was there and say it happen I looked at source and
it just had an error that started with syn_error, wasn't to hard to figure that
one out.

Most recently, users using the cfdocument pages at one site wouldn't see
anything and in every case it was norton.

 Draw your own conclusions...........

I stopped using norton because it just doesn't do a good job with viruses and
because it's such a system hog but apparently it doesnt like the js that cfm
makes either.

Subject: RE: AV on CF servers

Although, I haven't had the opportunity to be the CF server admin - I've never
had any great luck with Symantec running on any desktops I admin - after they
killed Norton.

I've had a great time using Trend Micro and Computer Associates' E-Trust.

Best,
....pjf
