kola Your reminder about turning off "friendly" error messages allowed me to get the <cfreport> tag to work on both CF6.1/CR9 and CF7/CR10 which is kind of cool.
But Still no go on the Java/JSP option, which I would still like to get to work to compare functionality. I am doing this on a development box, I assume configured in standalone, I have no /JRUN directory, just a CFusionMX7 directory.
