If you choose the "Multiserver" option when installing CFMX 7, it will
install a full version of JRun 4, create several JRun servers, and install
CFMX to one of these, which will be named "cfusion". That's all you need.

I'm not aware of any tutorials that are specifically written for CF
developers. However, anything that you find about use of and deployment on
J2EE servers in general, or JRun specifically, will be useful to you.
There's very little that's CF-specific about this, unless you want to deploy
a Java web application in the same server instance that CFMX is using, in
which case you'll need to merge deployment descriptor information and stuff
like that. But if you don't need that sort of integration, you can deploy
your application on a completely separate JRun server without messing around
with CFMX. When you choose the Multiserver configuration described above,
you will have a JRun server called "default", which is perfectly fine for
this.
