I looked around for this too, but didn't find anything.  ActivePDF sounded 
close, but it doesn't yet support Office 2003.  The new <cfdocument> tag 
looks very interesting, but can't import a document.  I think you can set 
up a watch folder in Acrobat Distiller, but that requires .ps files.  I 
looked into setting up a watch folder for Acrobat Writer, which seems like 
the ideal solution, but couldn't see how to do it.

Any other ideas?
