OK, I figured out what was wrong... I had to add \* to the end of the directory path, like thus C:\CFusionMX7\runtime\servers\coldfusion\SERVER-INF\temp\wwwroot-tmp\*
It's still not clear to me what the difference is between the way that \* and \- works. Maybe someone can explain that to me better than the explaination on the admin page.
