You can use badboy (http://www.badboy.com.au/) to record test scripts for 
Apache JMeter  (http://jakarta.apache.org/jmeter/) JMeter is a load testing 
tool, but you can script it to use it as a "throw loads of junk and admire the 
errors" testing tool as well. It can be a bit of a pain to set up, but it's 
well worth it once it's up and running.

Our QA dept uses a software called Winrunner to test our apps, but it's $$$$.

Or you can just give your boss's boss a demo - guaranteed way to find deeeeep 
bugs.
