So, I was told by Tech Support that the issue is not covered under any 'free' support. However, the problem was passed along to an engineer. The engineer's suggestion was that it is a db connection issue. Howver, the DB server is the same one I have been using for over a year, and it seems to work fine from my CFMX 6.1 box.
I was told to look at a log file named hs_pid_xxxx.log, but it didn't offer any useful information and it doesn't seem to generate an entry for this file each time CF cfashes. I went back over the cfusion-err.log file under JRun and found a few recent(they are at the bottom, so I assume they are recent) entries that read: [Fatal Error] :-1:-1: Premature end of file. I Googled this error, but none of the results seemed pertinent to my problemt. Uless I wish to shell out $500 to MM for support (which I don't...this is my dev machine)..I need to depend on the CF community for help.
