There is only one parameter for the sp. Just a simple search query returning a resultset. (MSSQL). It is declared in the proc as char(11). I'm not sure why it works in the cfquery call without quotes. The proc must treat it as a string regardless until the datatype is declared. Why should this be so hard? Anyone know of a tutorial or explanation of the CF sp tags/usage other than the CFML Reference?
