In this case, I don't think that's an excuse, since CF has had FORM.FIELDNAMES since CF 2.0, at least. That's what it was there for - to let you get a list of the form fields so you could process them. Now, of course, we have the Form scope exposed as a structure, which is nicer, but the required functionality for generalized form handlers has been there all the time.
