Been using it this way with CF5 and Red Sky ... enabled in CF admin (main menu > Debugging & Logging > Debugging Settings > Enable Debugging is checked) - classic format, General Debug Information checked +Database +Exceptions +Tracing, +Variables (cgi,client,cookie,form,session,url), ip address 127.0.0.1 in the address list... All these settings were imported from my Red Sky installation... <cfsetting showdebugoutput="true"> in the page, just not getting any debug output. I actually use a request variable and put the setting in the onRequestEnd stage, but that's neither here nor there, since I've set it and aborted the page and still get nothing. I installed the cumulative hotfix for 7, even though none of the technotes looked relevant... I think my next step is going to be to reinstall CF7. Win2K Server, IIS 5 in case it's relevant.
