Is there a coldfusion command that I can use to test an ODBC connection? I know I can do it through the Coldfusion Administrator, but I want to test an ODBC connection before generating a query using that connection. I am trying to trap an error caused by an ODBC issue (i.e.. database down) and send a descriptive message to the user to contact the "DB Administrator". Thanks! Gary 8-)
