Been a while since I wrote such code, but as I recall I just spits out
completely new files. Didn't append. That was easier since the basic data
could be ORDER BY'd from the db first.

Um, 1 ) read the bind manual completely through at least 3 times before you
even attempt this?
2) Don't believe anything it says.
3) Never use ip's for the serial no matter what examples might indicate (see
above). (Use current time).

I'm sure others will come to me but those stand out. :)
