Yes, precisely, I've got a CF page that sets and displays some text that the 
load balancer reads. If it's dead (after a few tries) it yanks the machine out 
of the farm until the test becomes successful again. However...

Here's the part (I'm either confused about or) that doesn't work: How does the 
load balancer know which machine is hanging, considering Machine A could be 
serving up a hanging *remote* application (from Machine B) at the time of the 
hang? If that happened a few times in row, wouldn't the load balancer pull the 
wrong machine out of farm?

The above paragraph kinda sums up the problem (or just my confusion). Can you 
set me straight? Is there something wrong with my perspective? (I might be 
completely misunderstanding how these clusters work.)
