OK, This seems to be a common problem but I cannot find a sirefire solution (and this is the first time it has happened to me).
On MX 6.1, I cannot verify a connection to a SQL server Datasource - I am getting a connection refused message even though I know the details are correct. I have checked that TCP/IP is enabled etc. I have also successfully created an ODBC connection on the ColdFusion machine but it will not verify as an ODBC socket. The SQL Server is a Mixed Mode. Anyone had this problem and now got a guaranteed solution?
