IMO, source control should be used anytime when changes will occur to a file. If these images never change state and are "permanent", then it's not something I would necessarily add to my source control repository. Instead, I'd just make sure there were several hard copies of the data, so I can restore any information that gets deleted. So, while I'd source control any images that deal w/my website design, I wouldn't necessarily source control images in a "Photo Album"--since those are generally just dumps from my camera in which I might make some minor modifications once and then just archive onto CD/DVD. -Dan ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Logware (www.logware.us): a new and convenient web-based time tracking application.
