I recently set it up for the first time (just a few weeks ago), and I got
Apache2 to work with the WebDAV and SVN modules that came with the
Subversion 1.2 install. Took a bit of fiddling, though, but not too much.
Works fine now.

All repositories are under a common root ( E:\svn ), i.e., E:\svn\repos1 ,
E:\svn\repos2, etc. Apache is configured to browse from E:\svn , and can
browse directly to /svn/repos1/ etc. Works just like in the Apache section
of the Subversion book.
