I'd tend to go with an export from SQL server via DTS, but there's also a 
custom tag out there we use for various data imports called CF_QueryToText.
I think it's still available at:

It's pretty easy to use too:

<CF_QueryToText QueryName="query_name_here" ACTION="WriteToFile"                
TextFile="file_path" TextDelimiter=","> 

I'm not sure of it's limitations as far as query size, but it's been able to 
handle whatever we've thrown at it so far.
