Big milestone, that - making it to 10 years. Well done Macromedia for
marking the event in this unique ColdFusion way - with usergroups,
rather than a TV marketing promotion and a new colour brochure with
nothing at all new on it, which is what you'd expect to see from
most other companies in the IT industry.

I saw the breeze presentation from Newton and it looked like it might
be quite interesting, but the sound was so terrible that it was
really a waste of time. What a pity. And to take 7 minutes out of
a 90 minute presentation with the camera looking into the left earhole
of someone drinking beer in the break was even less amateurish than
you'd expect to see at one of my dad's holiday slide nights.

I dont think I'd like to see something all slick and stage-managed but
really . .for something as historic as this, couldn't they have had a
LITTLE bit of professional help so the rest of the world could share
it too?

Breeze still has a lot of room for improvement.

Anyway, well done to Allaire, Macromedia and Adobe and all who sail
with ColdFusion. Ten years is a long time in the IT world, and
there's no sign of it slowing down yet.
