But still no joy: the tag does not produce any output, so I cannot tell
whether the process has worked.

If I look for the file that should be outputted to, it does not exist so
I think I can safely say it doesn't work.

If I look hard, I can see the command-line popup and make out that it is
telling me that the timezone is not defined (this despite the fact that
it IS set, and I do not get this message if I use the command line
manually to do exactly the same command.

It seems I am destined to a life of manually signing all of our domain
requests...
