That complex of a job, huh?  Ideally I'd just like to learn how to do it on
my own so any links to resources, how-tos, etc would be great.

My other option is to just host a subdomain for every other website that
wants to use our data.  I already know how to do that.  But what I really
would like to do is to provide a simple cut and paste piece of JavaScript
code much like how the many various news sources provide for news feed
integration into other websites and/or something similar to how websites
like Ebay provide JavaScript code (example at savetheangels.com) to less
experienced webmasters who may not fully understand how to intergrate XML
data into their own websites or who do not have the technical capabilities
to do so.
