Sounds like you need to look into more reusable code if I'm hearing you right ;-)
Perhaps something like this: -strip out code in display_page that creates the vars you want to use in new_page -cfinclude that code in both display_page and new_page voila! same code used in 2 files Now if there is something specific to display_page that is needed to create these vars, you'll need to think it through more than my simple example HTH Cheers Bryan Stevenson B.Comm.
