Hi,

Given the large group of educated CFMX 6.1 users here, I was hoping
someone might have some insight.

In two separate cases (two different servers) after a server reboot a
tried-tested-and-true CFXM6.1 server started throwing
java.security.AccessControlException: access denied
(java.io.FilePermission ) on the main custom tags directory. The
solution was to go into the CF admin, remove the custom tag directory
and re-add it and all the problems go away. Neither of these boxes has
received any patches recently.

In addition, in one case we had to replace xalan.jar (same file size,
same file date) to get XML processing working again. We have examined
the machines for any hard drive damage or any other wierdness...These
are both production servers with excellent uptime and performance in
the past...

Has anyone else encountered this issue? Any idea what is causing it?

Thanks,

....David
