You could just install a converter on the server and then call it with
command line parameeters via cfexecute.

anyone know how to deal with 3gp files?  I guess Quicktime can play them but
I'm kinda hoping to find something (coldfusion, java, executable) that can
convert 3gp files to some other format (preferable flv) on the server side.
