The file I originally built this applet to parse though is ~166,173 KB. This tool was just to display the file in formatted HTML to make it easier to scan through, and figure out which of thousands of entries where causing problems in the application the log file relates through.
This worked well, and once I finished the tool it only took me about 15 minutes to find the problem entries and see a likely candidate for the problem. But after using the underlining Java classes to do this, I kind of went; "Ah ha."
